This website is under construction. Please bear with me while I teach myself html and flesh out all of the sections here.
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Salk Institute for Biological Studies, San Diego, CA. I work on T cells, biological rhythms, and cancer immunotherapy under Prof Satchin Panda.
I am interested in how human physiology interacts with cell biology. A simple question at this interface that I intend to spend a lifetime answering is: "How does our behaviour affect the function of our immune cells?". This covers behaviours relating to diet, exercise, sleep, social interaction, and stress (among others). My current focus is on the interplay between circadian health and immunity, particularly with respect to timing of food intake and T cell immunity against cancers.
Before I moved to San Diego in January 2025, I was based in Cambridge, UK, where I undertook my PhD in cell biology and immunology under Prof Gillian Griffiths.
